Time spent with Lipizzan horses is the right way to make your child happy and to offer unforgettable moments for a joyful childhood.
The price of all programmes includes two adults and max. three children. In order to have a quality visit, no more than two families can attend a programme.
PACKAGE – I
Basic programme MEET THE STUD FARM LIPIK + educational programme FIRST CONTACT WITH LIPIZZANERS.

Enjoying the walk at the Stud Farm guided by our expert employee who will introduce you with and tell the story of Lipizzan horses and a short story about the history of the stud farm and life of Lipizzaners. Horse Training and dressage take place at the stud farm.
Guided tours include visits to:
- Horse stables
- Carriage collection
- Dressage terrain
- The souvenir shop
FIRST CONTACT WITH LIPIZZANERS (for families with children of 3 years of age and up)
The First Contact with Lipizzaners programme incites new emotions and encourages development of children’s senses. The Lipizzaner is a true man’s friend, which can be particularly seen with children. Since the children at that age are not yet ready to ride but love horses and want to meet them, this is a programme for them. It will help them make the first contact with a horse, learn basics and feel the warmth of a horse on their palms.
This is a new programme of the State Stud Farm Lipik where you and your child have a unique experience through spending time together and a direct contact with your new friend.
The programme is conducted under the expert guidance of a trainer.

For children age 6 and up
Programme Time: 1.5 hour
Price: 50.00 kn per person

LIPIZZANER – MAN’S FRIEND (for families with children age 6 and up)
Would you like that your child gets to know horses – Lipizzaners in a different way? This can be done in our programme Lipizzaner – man’s friend in which even the admirers of Lipizzan horses can find out more about them: the way they see, hear, feel, think and commmunicate.
We will teach children how to approach Lipizzaners, how to greet, touch and brush them and how to take care about their hooves and the like.
This is a new programme of the State Stud Farm Lipik where you and your child have a unique experience through spending time together and a direct contact with your new friend.
The programme is conducted under the guidance of an expert guide.
The programme Lipizzaner-man’s friend includes:
- Learning the basics about the Stud Farm and visit the stables
- Learning how horses communicate with people and the environment around them
- Getting to know about horses’ care and diet
- Getting to know the riding equipment
- Learning how to approach a horse in the right way
- Making you first steps in a saddle with the help of your trainer
- Visit to the souvenir shop
PACKAGE – III
Basic programme MEET STUD FARM LIPIK + educational programme FIRST CONTACT WITH LIPIZZANERS + ride in a Lipizzan carriage (15 minutes in the town)
For children age 3 or more
Programme Duration: 2 hours
