What is the programme Lipizzaner – man’s best friend?
Would you like that your child gets to know Lipizzaner horses, in a different way? This can be done in our programme Lipizzaner – man’s best friend in which even the admirers of Lipizzaner horses can find out more about them: the way they see, hear, feel, think and communicate.
We will teach children how to approach Lipizzaners, how to greet, touch, bath and brush it, and how to take care of their hooves and the like.
This is a new programme of the State Stud Farm Lipik that offers you and your child a unique experience through spending time together and in direct contact with your new friend.
Where is the programme conducted and who conducts it?
The programme is conducted under the expert guidance of a trainer at the Stud Farm Lipik.
What does the First Contact with Lipizzaners programme include?
First Contact with Lipizzaners programme includes:
- Learning the basics about the Stud Farm and visit the stables
- Learning how to approach a horse in the right way
- Getting to know about horses’ care and diet
- Getting to know the riding equipment
- Making you first steps in a saddle with the help of your trainer
Programme Length: 30 – 40 minutes

The programme is intended for children age 8 and up.
